Privacy

This is our wedding website. It is run by the two of us, Landon and Alyssa Byrge, and by nobody else. Here is exactly what we keep and why.

What we collect. Your name, the names of the people you tell us are coming with you and whether any of them are children, your email address and your phone number. Later, the meal and drink choices you make and anything you tell us about allergies or dietary needs. That last one counts as health information, so we only ever use it to brief whoever is making the food.

Why. To send your invitation, to count heads, to plan the food, and to let you know how the day is shaping up. Nothing else. We do not sell it, share it, or advertise to you, and there is no analytics or tracking anywhere on this site.

Who sees it. Us. It lives on a computer in our home in Tennessee. Three companies handle it in passing on our behalf: Resend sends our email, Cloudflare delivers the site, and Discord tells us when someone fills in the form. None of them use your details for anything of their own.

Cookies. Two, and both are there to make the site work. One remembers your private link so you can come back and change your answers. One keeps us logged in to our own admin page. There is no advertising or analytics cookie, which is why you have not had to click a cookie banner.

How long we keep it. Until December 2027, about six months after the wedding, and then we delete it.

Seeing, changing, or deleting your details. Use your private link any time to change your own household's details. If you would rather we sent you a copy of everything we hold about you, corrected something, or deleted you entirely, email us at [email protected] and we will do it. You can also tell us to stop contacting you and we will.
